This index is of particular significance to investors for two reasons. Firstly, it brings together the largest companies listed on the Warsaw Exchange, which also generate the largest turnover during trading. Secondly, the WIG20 index is the underlying instrument for futures contract, which for several years has enjoyed great interest on the part of investors.
